Office Chairs

A chair specifically made for use at a desk in an office is known as an office chair or a desk chair. Typically, it is a swivel chair with adjustable height and wheels for mobility. Modern office chairs often have one distinct load-bearing leg that is positioned beneath the seat and is known as a gas lift. A number of features not present on other chairs were adopted when office chairs evolved in the middle of the 19th century as more workers chose to spend their shifts sitting at a desk.

Other jobs, like talking on the phone, let you sit back and relax. Long periods of time spent in a stationary position strain the body and can have a negative impact on health. Postural restrictions for teleconferencing, a growingly popular business activity, differ slightly from those for typing or audio telephone. A larger range of use cases can be accommodated by chairs with additional adjustments, like seat pan tilt. Powered standing desks are frequently used in conjunction with these chairs to further mobilize the body.
